Custom Construction
I’ve built electrics, acoustics, archtops, ukeleles, mandolins, and guitars of all shapes. As a musician myself, I have built all of the instruments that I play and love to tinker to create the most functional sound and playability. I also enjoy accentuating the natural grain and colors of different woods for added contrast.
Instrument Repair
Accidents happen. But my many years in woodworking has given me the skills to reshape and repair broken instruments. I try to use the least invasive techniques, often making my own custom jigs or tools in the process. I also try to maintain the original style or look of your instrument throughout.
Maintenance and Modification
Whether it’s a custom inlay you’re looking for, a new finish job, or new pick-ups or tuners. I’m happy to help you get your instrument to where you want it. And don’t forget the normal maintenance and tune-ups. Like your car or your body, your instrument could use a regular check-up too.
